The WHO Global report on health equity for persons with disabilities demonstrates that persons with disabilities experience health inequities due to health system barriers amongst other factors. Strengthening health workforce is one strategic entry point into health systems. Therefore, WHO jointly with the Chair of Inclusive Health Care at the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 Hospital and 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg develops Global Competency Standards to support a competency-based outcomes approach to education and training of health workers on disability inclusion. This Webinar, co-hosted by WHO and the Chair of Inclusive Health Care, will introduce the background and development process of these Global Competency Standards. It will take place on Monday, October 28th at 1 pm.
