In the winter term of 2016/17, the lecture series on Tolkien re-launches in a new, exciting and expanded format: "Fantasy, Science Fiction and ...". We begin with an anchor point which is very close to our own academic focus when we juxtapose FanSciFi with "... the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏ieval".

Picking up where we left off, the lecture series does not only feature researchers from the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg and within our own discipline but presentations from disciplines like penology, musicology, pedagogy, history or geography. Topics include – among others –?Harry Potter, Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire, Star Wars, and, of course, our starting point?The Lord of the Rings.?
