Curriculum Vitae

Amadeus J. Pickal studied psychology (bachelor’s and master’s degree programs) at the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Vienna. From 2017 to 2018, he worked as a research associate at the Department of Education and Educational Psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit?t Munich. During this time, he also started working on his doctoral thesis as a member of the DFG-funded research group “COSIMA: Facilitation of Diagnostic Competences in Simulation-Based Learning Environments in Higher Education”. He continued his work in COSIMA at the Institute of Education at the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Hildesheim, where he was employed from 2018 to 2024 and completed his doctoral thesis. Since 2024, he has been working at Augsburg 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 – initially at the Chair of Learning Analytics and Educational Data Mining, later at the Chair of Psychology.
