(...) The foundation has assets of almost 80 million euros and promotes economic and legal research in the field of monetary economics. It supports numerous endowed professorships, research training groups and conferences with between 1 and 2 million euros annually. The Foundation Council is composed of members of the Executive Board of the Bundesbank, top officials of the Federal Ministry of Finance and university professors from the fields of law and economics.
