Core Facility Flow Cytometry
Description
The availability of modern technologies is of great importance for cutting-edge scientific research. These technologies include, in particular, fluorescence activated cell sorting and flow cytometric multi-color analysis. These technologies are an essential resource for basic research in cell biology and application-oriented research.
Both technologies are available for external and internal use at our location in Augsburg.

Use and booking of the Core Facility Flow Cytometry analyzers
The devices can be booked for analyses by internal and external users.
Before and during the analysis phase, the Core Facility Flow Cytometry staff are available to instruct you in the use of the analyzers and the instrument software. They will be happy to advise you, e.g. on fluorochrome composition for multi-color panel design, sample preparation, sample analysis or data evaluation and are available to answer any questions you may have.
?
Cell sorting can also be carried out for you by the specially trained operators of the Core Facility Flow Cytometry. Sorted cells and data in the required file formats can be provided for you. The employees of the Core Facility Flow Cytometry offer additional assistance with questions on fluorochrome composition (multi color panel design) and sample preparation.
?
If you are interested, please contact Nicole Pochert: nicole.pochert@med.uni-augsburg.de or +49 821 400 168 913.
