Further Information

Tamar Nov Klaiman completed her PhD in the department of Sociology and Anthropology at Ben Gurion 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of the Negev, Israel, in 2023. Prior to this, she studied genetic counselling and practiced as a genetic counsellor in Israel. Her areas of research include bioethics and policies in the field of reproductive technologies and biobanks. Her PhD was an investigation of social meanings and practices of new prenatal technologies. She has published her results in international peer-reviewed journals and invited book chapters. Currently, she is working with Ruth Horn, Leoni Czisch and colleagues on a comparative project exploring the interplay of policies and socio-ethical considerations in the context of testing strategies for cystic fibrosis in Israel and Germany.
