Welcome to American Studies!
American Studies at Augsburg 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 builds on an understanding of the United States as shaped by transnational and transcultural processes, both in the present and in the past. This entails a conception of American Studies as North American Studies, which means that beyond our focus on US-American literatures and cultures, other texts produced in the Americas – such as ones originating from Canada or the borderlands between the United States and Mexico – are an integral part of our teaching and research.
