Summer School Augsburg-Berlin
In the summer semester 2025, the Chair of Prof. Dr. Erik E. Lehmann, in cooperation with Indiana ΰµÂ¹ú¼Ê_ΰµÂ¹ú¼Ê1946$ÓéÀÖappÓÎÏ· Bloomington, is offering the program for the?sixth time. This year¡¯s Summer School takes place in the period from June 4 to June 25, 2025 under the topic ¡°Strategic Management in the International Context". The program is open to students from Bloomington as well as to students of the university of Augsburg. The Summer School will take place in presence, subject to change.

Information meeting:
In order to give students a first overview of the Summer School 2025, an information event will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 11:45 am via Zoom. We cordially invite all interested students to attend.

Application:
Applications are open to all Bachelor students in the 2nd phase of the study programmes GBM, BWL and iBWL, as well as to all Master students in the study programmes BWL, DFM, GBM and iBWL. The number of participants is limited. In addition to registering on Digicampus, please upload your application (Excel sheet) including a current grade transcript of your studies there. Admitted participants will be notified via e-mail.

Fees:
Through different subsidies, we try to keep the financial burden for students as low as possible. Accepted students will be asked to pay a deposit of €375 to the chair after receiving the confirmation.

Transfer:
Joint transport will be organised for the journey to Berlin. All Summer School participants will travel together in a coach from Augsburg to Berlin. Participants will be informed of the departure time and the exact meeting point in Augsburg in good time. For the return journey at the end of the Summer School, students have the freedom to organise their return journey individually to suit their personal plans or connecting trips.

Contents:
In addition to various guest and expert lectures, the students work in international teams on a given topic and present the results at the end of the three-week Summer School. At the same time a seminar paper will be written.
Please refer to the respective module descriptions of your study program for information on how credits from the summer school contribute to your degree.

During the three weeks of the program, there is enough time for the students to work on the topic. Topics include "International and Intercultural Managmeent", "Organizational Strategic Management", "Project Management", "Sustainability Planning" and ?Ethical Operations¡°. After the end of the Summer School students will have enough time to finalize their seminar paper and to incorporate feedback from the final presentation.
