Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Jonah M. Otto, MPA, earned his Bachelor of Science from the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Southern Indiana (USA), majoring in international political science and European history. During this time, he studied in the United Kingdom and Ghana, and completed work placements at the United States Census Bureau and a local civil law firm. He then worked for the U.S. Department of State in Edinburgh, Scotland, analyzing the Scottish independence referendum for the U.S. Embassy in London.

Dr. Otto completed a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) at Indiana 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 (USA), concentrating in public and NGO management, international education, and economic development. During his graduate studies, he contributed to a UNICEF global health initiative with CCS Nonprofit Consultants and directed an eight-county branding and marketing campaign for Radius Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

After his graduate degree, he became the assistant director of international programs at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 (USA). He established the school’s global presence by fostering partnerships with foreign universities, governments, and NGOs. He also served as an instructor, conducting research and taught courses on international public policy, economic development, and cultural competencies.

Dr. Otto then joined the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg (Germany) as a teaching and research fellow at the Chair of Management and Organization in the Faculty of Business and Economics, where he completed his doctoral degree. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg, focusing his research and coursework on the intersections of international relations, globalization, higher education, public policy, and economic development. He also leads incoming exchange and internationalization development for his faculty, playing a key role in building and executing the institution’s international strategy. He frequently speaks to groups and organizations on American politics, government, and the internationalization of higher education.
