Curriculum Vitae
Stefan Mayer, born in 1989 in Munich, is an economist with a focus on financial market regulation and data integration. He earned his B.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics from the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Passau and his M.Sc. in Economics and Public Policy from the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg. During his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Peter Welzel.

Subsequently, from 2016 to 2023, he served as a research associate and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Economic Policy and Industrial Economics at the Faculty of Business and Economics, 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Welzel. In 2022, he completed his doctoral thesis (Dr. rer. pol.) on the regulation of capital requirements.

Following the completion of his doctorate, he worked as a Senior Consultant at Regnology (BearingPoint Software Solutions) before joining Bayerische Landesbank in 2024, where he currently holds the position of Deputy Head of Department for Data Systems and Integration.

- Contingent convertible capital (CoCos)
- FinTech and RegTech in financial market regulation
