International Classroom Experience

My experience at the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg boosted my self-confidence immensely; the teachers were incredibly welcoming and allowed me to practice my German with them in a safe environment, the students were all open to learning from me and gave me really wholesome feedback at the end of the year. This has been the highlight of my exchange year in Augsburg.

I've gained a lot from this experience. I learnt how to prepare my lessons in a coherent and organised way, using different software to prepare vocabulary sheets, exercises and also to create games. My school made me feel very welcome and the students were very happy to learn French with me. Thank you again, I really enjoyed doing this project. If I could do it again, I would.

My experience in the ICE program shaped my semester in Germany. Being with the kids every week allowed me to be in contact with everyday German, get to know the Bavarian curriculum and see the influences of the English language in young people’s speech. I was really well received and always felt at home at Holbein. It felt really rewarding seeing the kids lose their shyness along the semester and being better able to express themselves.

Requirements: Mother tongue English, Spanish, Italian or French

Required Workload: Regular class attendance (at least 4 lessons per week), prepare and agree project plan, write report, presentation at end of semester

Confirmation: 5 ECTS
