As part of the Bachelor's degree programme at the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg, German as a foreign language/German as a second language can be studied as a major subject (90 CP) and as a minor subject (60 CP). The degree programme focuses on basic skills for teaching German as a foreign language or German as a second language. The BA programme German as a foreign language/German as a second language at the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg focuses on the teaching of German as a foreign language and German as a second language for adult learners. The programme content is set out in § 28 of the BAPO of the multiple BA of the Faculty of Philology and History.

The German as a foreign language/German as a second language degree programme is divided into a basic, an advanced and a specialisation area. The BA degree programme in German as a foreign language/German as a second language at the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg also includes learning another language or German as a foreign language, a compulsory German as a foreign language/German as a second language internship with accompanying seminar and, in the main subject, the Bachelor's thesis.

By studying the foundation modules I, II and II (Fundamentals of the subject German as a foreign language and German as a second language I: Introduction to specialised didactics; Fundamentals of the subject German as a foreign language and German as a second language II: Multilingualism and migration; Fundamentals of the subject German as a foreign language and German as a second language III: Language system and language use), you will acquire the necessary specialised knowledge from specialised didactics, linguistics and cultural and migration studies. In the advanced area, courses are offered on partial aspects of specialised didactics (teaching and learning German as a foreign language and German as a second language) and specialised sciences (multilingualism and migration). In the specialisation area, you will develop your own subject profile, either in the area of empirical research in German as a foreign language and German as a second language and/or in the area of competence orientation and professionalisation, which you will strengthen with your BA thesis.
