GIRLS’ DAY 2025 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF?AUGSBURG
On April 3rd, the Girls' Day took place at the 伟德国际_伟德国际1946$娱乐app游戏 of Augsburg, with around 170 girls participating. Seven programs were offered in the fields of mathematics, natural sciences, computer science, law and economics. The participants had the opportunity to discover mathematical tricks, conduct exciting experiments, try their hand at programming, and take part in workshops – sparking their interest in these subjects.

What is Girls’ Day?
Girls' Day is a nationwide action day on which girls can get a taste of professional fields that they might rarely consider. We want to use Girls' Day to give girls who are not yet sure what they want to do professionally an insight into subjects like computer science and multimedia, physics, or also materials science, and to get to know the associated professions and activities.
How do I register?
Registration for the university's programs is done via the Girls’ Day Radar page and not through the university itself. The links to the registration can be found above under the respective offer ("To registration").

Where can I find more information?
Girls' Day or similar activities take place in over 20 countries. On the Girls’ Day website you will find all the information about the nationwide program.

Girls’ Day is a school day, just without lessons! Fill out the school leave form and discuss with your school whether you will be excused.
I didn’t get a spot!
It’s best to contact us by phone or email. Sometimes we can arrange an additional spot for you.

Am I still too young or already too old?
You can use the age specifications as a guide so you don’t feel under- or overwhelmed. If you are interested in a program that doesn’t match your age, judge for yourself whether it might be too easy or too difficult for you, then you can still register.

How do I get there?
There are different meeting points for the respective offers. Please check the programs to see which tram stop you need to go to. You will then be picked up at the respective stop with a sign.

Don’t forget!
- Ticket: Check whether you can travel to the respective stop with your AVV school card.
- School exemption: Don’t forget to hand in the school exemption application. Please print it out and have it signed by your parents.
- Food: You will receive a free lunch from us. Don’t forget to bring drinks!
